One client wished for his house to be painted in a Rufus Porter style painting with a view of the Piscataqua River and the city of Portsmouth, NH, in the background. The green shade of the foreground and the pinks in the sky were supplied to the artist as guides so that the color scheme of the painting could match the walls in the room he planned to hang the painting.
This client made his own frame, but Flying Owl Painting also has a skilled historical carpenter, Rob Lusignan of Hemlock Historic Carpentry & Joinery, available to make a frame for artwork of any size.
